For those who don't know, near the end of the school year in 2003, the Fury and I had a falling out.  Everything is cool now, but for about a year, we didn't speak.  All that is behind us now, but at the time, it looked like "Disputed" might be the only thing we ever made together.  Apparently, the universe found this proposal unacceptable.  Peyton and I rejoined forces in January or 2004.  In February 2004, we started this website and made this film to launch it.

A few years ago, while working on "Disputed," I had the idea for some jokes we all knew and loved, along with some original ones, to be put on film...to actually act out the situations described.  This project would be known as "Skits and Giggles."  Will and I sat down one afternoon and went through all the brainstormed ideas for sketches and narrowed it down to the ones that would make it into the final project and then outlined them so that they'd flow into each other.  However, the Fury and I realized that they still stood alone quite well.  So, rather than kill ourselves to make on big film, we decided to shoot and release these as independent pieces of a series called CAFRough.

The First Frame of CrasH & The Fury REUNITED!!!

Yes, this happened to me too.

You'd be at this point too by now!

Patrick's First Attempt

Patrick's New Strategy

This is the first CAFRough.  I originally wrote it to be used as the opening sketch and for the opening titles of "Skits and Giggles" to be running over this one, hence the very small amount of dialogue in it.  In spite of that, make sure you have your speakers on and turned up when you watch this one.

When the Fury came to visit for the first time since our falling out, he decided we needed to write and make a film.  I'd already written this one and less than 24 hours later, we had this one on the website.  Interesting to note, everything and I mean EVERYTHING in the CAFRough series is based in some form or fashion on something that has actually happened to the writers/actors in the series.  I really did have a fight with an alarm clock...and lost, a few years ago.  And of course, I got a measure of justice/revenge on the Fury, when for this film, I heavily duct-taped a couple of pillows to his legs and chest...and taped them tight too.

CAFRough II has already been released too.  The Fury has written a new one called, go figure, CAFRough III.  The original CAFRough III will still be made, but will be renamed to CAFRough IV and the rest in the series will also move up a number.  And now you have a little trivia for a trivia contest at a bar.
