"Technology: Making Our Lives Needlessly Complex Since The Dawn Of Time"

Ah, the 21st century.  New technology battles to keep up with criminals' new methods of hacking it.  In the case of security, one of the best methods we supposedly have for controlling access is biometric feedback--using the human body itself as the password.  It's nearly impossible to duplicate someone's retinal scan, or in this case, handprint.  Sounds like a good idea, right?  Well what happens if someone just steals your hand?  You read that right.  Just watch the video to see.

This shoot turned out to be a little harder than necessary.  I was shooting this for a class project because, as we all know, if you turn in a video for a class project, it's an automatic A, no matter how poor the production value.  In my case, I earned my A, when none of the other people (read, just the one other person) showed up for the shoot.  We spent two hours calling everyone we knew and just asking random girls if they would play the part of "The Temptress."  Finally, this one cute girl agreed and thus BioMetrics was born.  I'd have to say, my favorite part is not so much when CrasH gets hit with the bat, but when the other people standing around (they were not signed on for the project, just random bystanders) just watched.  No one came to CrasH's aid.  That was funny.

Oh, and in case you were wandering, I got my A.  But I just noticed I said that earlier.  And since I don't believe in the backspace key, I'm just going to keep typing about it.
